“Just as clothes make women feel glamorous and confident, a well designed home brings peace and comfort to one’s environment,” says Monique St. Germain. For more than 25 years, Monique has been bringing her expertise, talent, and eye for detail to create one-of-a-kind personal spaces.

Monique’s entree into interior design came through sewing and textile design. She began creating and sewing her own wardrobe as a teenager. That led to her college experience of designing theatrical costumes. After earning a B.A. at Boston College,  an M.B.A. at Suffolk University,  and attending the New England School of Art & Design, Monique combined her creative and business skills to launch her interior design firm.

Since founding her company, Interiors by Monique Inc., Monique has handled a wide range of projects. Although her work reflects the taste and personality of her clients, she is most fluent in traditional, transitional, classic and historic styles. She lives and works in the Boston suburbs of Metrowest.

Community service and volunteerism are important values in Monique’s life. She currently serves on the board of directors of Wellesley Service League and Wellesley Friendly Aid. She is the past president of the Wellesley Gardener’s Guild and is a member of Women’s Business Network.

Monique is an Allied Member of A.S.I.D. American Society of Interior Designers since 1993.
